Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 1.48% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Bersama Mencapai Puncak PT Tbk (JK:BAIK), which rose 26.32% or 25.00 points to trade at 120.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Pudjiadi & Sons Tbk (JK:PNSE) added 24.49% or 119.00 points to end at 605.00 and MPX Logistics International Tbk PT (JK:MPXL) was up 23.40% or 33.00 points to 174.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK), which fell 16.67% or 1.00 points to trade at 5.00 at the close. Bangun Karya Perkasa Jaya PT Tbk (JK:KRYA) declined 14.29% or 18.00 points to end at 108.00 and Express Transindo Utama Tbk (JK:TAXI) was down 12.50% or 1.00 points to 7.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 351 to 295 and 202 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bersama Mencapai Puncak PT Tbk (JK:BAIK) rose to 52-week highs; up 26.32% or 25.00 to 120.00. Shares in MPX Logistics International Tbk PT (JK:MPXL) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 23.40% or 33.00 to 174.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.29% or 0.19 to $65.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.30% or 0.20 to hit $67.24 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 5.50 to trade at $3,349.40 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.20% to 16,275.90, while AUD/IDR fell 0.18% to 10,588.12.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 99.17.
