Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Household, Telecoms and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General-Composite fell 1.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General-Composite were Centric Hold (AT:DESr), which rose 5.22% or 0.006 points to trade at 0.121 at the close. Meanwhile, Papoutsanis (AT:PSALr) added 2.94% or 0.006 points to end at 0.210 and Profile Syst (AT:PRFr) was up 2.69% or 0.015 points to 0.572 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AS Company SA (AT:ASCr), which fell 4.17% or 0.050 points to trade at 1.180 at the close. Revoil Petrol (AT:REVr) declined 3.54% or 0.011 points to end at 0.307 and Hygeia (AT:HYGr) was down 3.08% or 0.008 points to 0.252.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 69 to 25 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Profile Syst (AT:PRFr) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.69% or 0.015 to 0.572.
Gold Futures for June delivery was down 0.22% or 2.90 to $1289.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $52.67 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract fell 0.25% or 0.14 to trade at $55.22 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.51% to 1.0697, while EUR/GBP fell 0.96% to 0.8388.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 99.74.
