Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Travel, Household and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General-Composite fell 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General-Composite were Halcor (AT:XAKO), which rose 7.17% or 0.035 points to trade at 0.520 at the close. Meanwhile, Papoutsanis (AT:PSALr) added 6.04% or 0.011 points to end at 0.193 and Elliniki Technodomiki Anemos SA (AT:ANEMr) was up 5.66% or 0.060 points to 1.120 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Revoil Petrol (AT:REVr), which fell 8.06% or 0.030 points to trade at 0.342 at the close. Attica Bank SA (AT:BOAr) declined 2.44% or 0.001 points to end at 0.040 and Jumbo SA (AT:BABr) was down 1.99% or 0.290 points to 14.300.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 51 to 48 and 21 ended unchanged.

Gold for February delivery was up 1.53% or 18.30 to $1214.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 0.38% or 0.20 to hit $52.57 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract fell 0.23% or 0.13 to trade at $55.73 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.96% to 1.0703, while EUR/GBP fell 1.70% to 0.8651.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.10% at 100.41.
