Nvidia shares jump after resuming H20 sales in China, announcing new processor
Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Banking, Telecoms and Household sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite declined 1.50%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Profile Syst (AT:PRFr), which rose 4.24% or 0.25 points to trade at 6.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Performance Technologies IT Solutions (AT:PREFr) added 4.00% or 0.23 points to end at 5.98 and Dimand Societe Anonyme for Real Estate Constructions (AT:DIMANDr) was up 3.30% or 0.28 points to 8.76 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bank of Cyprus Holdings PLC (AT:BOCHGRr), which fell 4.10% or 0.26 points to trade at 6.08 at the close. Alpha Bank SA (AT:ACBr) declined 4.07% or 0.12 points to end at 2.83 and Greek Organisation of Football Prognostics SA (AT:OPAr) was down 4.00% or 0.79 points to 18.94.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 75 to 49 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Profile Syst (AT:PRFr) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.24% or 0.25 to 6.15.
Gold Futures for August delivery was down 1.18% or 39.61 to $3,304.29 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 0.59% or 0.36 to hit $60.58 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract fell 0.98% or 0.62 to trade at $62.73 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.18% to 1.13, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 99.40.
