Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Banking, Construction and Travel sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite rose 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Alpha Bank SA (AT:ACBr), which rose 5.82% or 0.11 points to trade at 1.95 at the close. Meanwhile, National Bank of Greece SA (AT:NBGr) added 3.53% or 0.30 points to end at 8.92 and Public Power (AT:DEHr) was up 2.24% or 0.29 points to 13.22 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aktor Symmetochon Technikon kai Energoiakon Ergon AE (AT:AKTRr), which fell 2.42% or 0.13 points to trade at 5.25 at the close. Athens International Airport SA (AT:AIAr) declined 1.69% or 0.15 points to end at 8.74 and Metlen Energy & Metals AE (AT:MYTr) was down 1.49% or 0.54 points to 35.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 60 to 59 and 21 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for April delivery was down 1.22% or 35.46 to $2,860.44 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 0.71% or 0.50 to hit $69.85 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract fell 0.86% or 0.63 to trade at $72.94 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 107.26.
