Germany stocks lower at close of trade; DAX down 0.32%

Investing.com – Germany stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Construction, Retail and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Frankfurt, the DAX lost 0.32%, while the MDAX index fell 0.20%, and the TecDAX index declined 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the DAX were Commerzbank AG O.N. (ETR:CBKG), which rose 2.37% or 0.23 points to trade at 10.02 at the close. Meanwhile, Adidas AG (ETR:ADSGN) added 2.01% or 3.20 points to end at 162.22 and Dr Ing hc F Porsche AG Preferred (ETR:P911_p) was up 1.65% or 1.95 points to 120.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Munich Reinsurance (ETR:MUVGn), which fell 1.71% or 5.80 points to trade at 333.70 at the close. Continental AG O.N. (ETR:CONG) declined 1.58% or 1.08 points to end at 67.34 and Brenntag AG (ETR:BNRGn) was down 1.44% or 1.10 points to 75.06.
The top performers on the MDAX were Fraport AG (ETR:FRAG) which rose 2.98% to 50.46, Gerresheimer AG (ETR:GXIG) which was up 2.66% to settle at 104.30 and Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:NEKG) which gained 2.40% to close at 73.44.
The worst performers were Delivery Hero AG (ETR:DHER) which was down 6.19% to 37.11 in late trade, SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:S92G) which lost 4.37% to settle at 100.60 and HelloFresh SE (ETR:HFGG) which was down 2.93% to 21.83 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Atoss Software AG (ETR:AOFG) which rose 2.42% to 203.00, Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:NEKG) which was up 2.40% to settle at 73.44 and Morphosys AG O.N. (ETR:MORG) which gained 1.66% to close at 23.24.
The worst performers were SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:S92G) which was down 4.37% to 100.60 in late trade, United Internet AG NA (ETR:UTDI) which lost 1.94% to settle at 14.17 and Eckert & Ziegler AG O.N. (ETR:EUZG) which was down 1.37% to 47.68 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 356 to 298 and 95 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dr Ing hc F Porsche AG Preferred (ETR:P911_p) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.65% or 1.95 to 120.35. Shares in Gerresheimer AG (ETR:GXIG) rose to all time highs; rising 2.66% or 2.70 to 104.30. Shares in Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:NEKG) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.40% or 1.72 to 73.44. Shares in Atoss Software AG (ETR:AOFG) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.42% or 4.80 to 203.00. Shares in Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:NEKG) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.40% or 1.72 to 73.44. Shares in United Internet AG NA (ETR:UTDI) fell to 5-year lows; losing 1.94% or 0.28 to 14.17.
The DAX volatility index, which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 4.15% to 16.58.
Gold Futures for June delivery was down 0.03% or 0.65 to $1,980.95 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.96% or 0.69 to hit $72.38 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract rose 0.97% or 0.73 to trade at $76.31 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.07% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.20% to 0.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 103.08.
