In Brazil, the combined total at Fortaleza and Porto Alegre airports reached 1.1 million passengers, up 132.3%.
Fraport said the sharp rise resulted primarily from a non-recurring effect tied to the closure of Porto Alegre Airport in the same month last year due to severe flooding.
