Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 1.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV), which rose 0.31% or 0.13 points to trade at 41.43 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) added 0.09% or 0.010 points to end at 11.210 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) was down 0.06% or 0.02 points to 35.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which fell 2.68% or 0.116 points to trade at 4.210 at the close. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) declined 2.34% or 0.155 points to end at 6.465 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was down 2.32% or 0.82 points to 34.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 110 to 29 and 10 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for April delivery was down 0.52% or 0.29 to $55.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 0.92% or 0.49 to hit $52.68 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.58% or 6.85 to trade at $1197.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.02% to 1.0697, while EUR/GBP rose 0.56% to 0.8568.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 100.39.
