Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Telecoms and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.71%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 2.29% or 0.1850 points to trade at 8.2500 at the close. Meanwhile, YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 1.07% or 0.09 points to end at 8.02 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was up 0.44% or 0.11 points to 25.26 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which fell 3.28% or 0.146 points to trade at 4.308 at the close. Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) declined 1.41% or 0.054 points to end at 3.774 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) was down 1.11% or 0.075 points to 6.710.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 71 to 69 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.07% or 0.09 to 8.02.
Brent oil for March delivery was down 0.45% or 0.25 to $55.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 0.86% or 0.46 to hit $52.76 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.91% or 10.95 to trade at $1215.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.21% to 1.0726, while EUR/GBP fell 0.61% to 0.8598.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.44% at 100.33.
