Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V), which rose 4.96% or 0.32 points to trade at 6.67 at the close. Meanwhile, Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) added 1.24% or 0.046 points to end at 3.748 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) was up 0.49% or 0.14 points to 28.44 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V), which fell 3.16% or 1.24 points to trade at 38.00 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 1.71% or 0.1600 points to end at 9.2100 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was down 1.56% or 0.078 points to 4.932.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 68 to 68 and 17 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for June delivery was up 0.11% or 0.06 to $56.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 0.41% or 0.22 to hit $53.30 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.46% or 18.35 to trade at $1272.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.13% to 1.0611, while EUR/GBP fell 0.36% to 0.8506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 100.63.
