Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V), which rose 0.72% or 0.27 points to trade at 37.69 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 0.56% or 0.0400 points to end at 7.2350 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was up 0.28% or 0.15 points to 54.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V), which fell 1.89% or 0.52 points to trade at 26.93 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) declined 1.50% or 0.11 points to end at 7.24 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was down 1.45% or 0.80 points to 54.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 82 to 57 and 13 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for September delivery was up 1.58% or 0.74 to $47.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 1.64% or 0.73 to hit $45.13 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.68 to trade at $1214.88 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.30% to 1.1433, while EUR/GBP rose 0.67% to 0.8909.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 95.70.
