Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Basic Materials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1), which rose 1.07% or 0.042 points to trade at 3.962 at the close. Meanwhile, Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) added 0.87% or 0.29 points to end at 33.79 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 0.71% or 0.040 points to 5.640 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V), which fell 2.82% or 0.21 points to trade at 7.25 at the close. Valmt (HE:VALMT) declined 2.20% or 0.38 points to end at 16.91 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 1.85% or 0.39 points to 20.64.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 69 to 68 and 15 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for July delivery was down 0.14% or 0.07 to $50.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 0.31% or 0.15 to hit $47.68 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 3.87 to trade at $1228.07 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.53% to 1.0920, while EUR/GBP rose 0.69% to 0.8487.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 99.16.
