Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Utilities and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB), which rose 1.81% or 0.105 points to trade at 5.900 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 1.09% or 0.40 points to end at 36.96 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) was up 1.00% or 0.33 points to 33.48 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which fell 1.51% or 0.076 points to trade at 4.954 at the close. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) declined 1.44% or 0.48 points to end at 32.87 and Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) was down 0.88% or 0.13 points to 14.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 67 to 64 and 20 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for June delivery was down 0.69% or 0.37 to $53.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May fell 0.63% or 0.32 to hit $50.28 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 3.25 to trade at $1254.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.02% to 1.0657, while EUR/GBP rose 0.61% to 0.8540.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 100.48.
