Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.97% or 0.1650 points to trade at 8.5350 at the close. Meanwhile, YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 1.29% or 0.10 points to end at 7.84 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 1.19% or 0.059 points to 5.025 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO), which fell 2.31% or 1.02 points to trade at 43.05 at the close. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) declined 1.53% or 0.56 points to end at 36.08 and Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) was down 0.77% or 0.080 points to 10.330.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 77 to 57 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) rose to 3-years highs; up 1.97% or 0.1650 to 8.5350.
Brent oil for March delivery was down 1.29% or 0.71 to $54.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 1.10% or 0.57 to hit $51.39 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.20% or 2.40 to trade at $1182.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.18% to 1.0556, while EUR/GBP fell 0.15% to 0.8683.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.11% at 102.03.
