Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.32% or 0.0950 points to trade at 7.2700 at the close. Meanwhile, Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) added 1.06% or 0.38 points to end at 36.07 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 0.61% or 0.070 points to 11.520 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which fell 1.46% or 0.31 points to trade at 20.99 at the close. Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) declined 1.39% or 0.63 points to end at 44.68 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) was down 1.28% or 0.70 points to 53.85.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 70 to 61 and 23 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for August delivery was up 0.77% or 0.38 to $49.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 1.20% or 0.57 to hit $47.97 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.98% or 12.59 to trade at $1295.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.12% to 1.1268, while EUR/GBP rose 0.25% to 0.8742.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 96.59.
