Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which rose 1.47% or 0.68 points to trade at 47.07 at the close. Meanwhile, Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) added 1.46% or 0.054 points to end at 3.744 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) was up 0.97% or 0.30 points to 31.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which fell 3.23% or 0.76 points to trade at 22.77 at the close. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) declined 3.09% or 1.12 points to end at 35.07 and Konecranes Abp (HE:KCRA) was down 2.51% or 0.87 points to 33.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 75 to 61 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.47% or 0.68 to 47.07.
Brent oil for April delivery was down 0.61% or 0.34 to $55.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 0.15% or 0.08 to hit $53.03 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 6.35 to trade at $1239.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.52% to 1.0654, while EUR/GBP rose 0.52% to 0.8550.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.45% at 100.63.
