Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Basic Materials and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 1.81% or 0.41 points to trade at 23.11 at the close. Meanwhile, Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) added 1.40% or 0.45 points to end at 32.58 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 1.31% or 0.064 points to 4.950 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 3.46% or 0.3300 points to trade at 9.1950 at the close. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) declined 2.70% or 1.04 points to end at 37.50 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was down 2.23% or 0.125 points to 5.490.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 83 to 53 and 15 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for May delivery was down 2.39% or 1.27 to $51.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 2.53% or 1.27 to hit $49.01 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 5.95 to trade at $1203.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.41% to 1.0584, while EUR/GBP rose 0.43% to 0.8700.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 101.91.
