Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 4.75% or 1.48 points to trade at 32.63 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 2.59% or 1.11 points to end at 43.92 and Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV) was up 1.10% or 0.49 points to 45.22 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Konecranes Abp (HE:KCRA), which fell 5.37% or 1.91 points to trade at 33.67 at the close. Valmt (HE:VALMT) declined 3.51% or 0.51 points to end at 14.02 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was down 3.33% or 0.185 points to 5.365.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 68 to 66 and 17 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for April delivery was up 0.18% or 0.10 to $55.15 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 0.25% or 0.13 to hit $52.30 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 7.85 to trade at $1243.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.24% to 1.0705, while EUR/GBP rose 0.01% to 0.8543.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 100.11.
