Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV), which rose 2.66% or 0.280 points to trade at 10.820 at the close. Meanwhile, Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) added 2.26% or 1.11 points to end at 50.30 and Konecranes Abp (HE:KCRA) was up 1.84% or 0.61 points to 33.84 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which fell 2.70% or 0.150 points to trade at 5.400 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) declined 1.23% or 0.140 points to end at 11.250 and Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) was down 0.91% or 0.31 points to 33.59.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 76 to 59 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.26% or 1.11 to 50.30.
Brent oil for May delivery was down 1.11% or 0.57 to $50.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 1.57% or 0.76 to hit $47.64 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.25 to trade at $1202.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.22% to 1.0631, while EUR/GBP rose 0.25% to 0.8740.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 101.41.
