Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Financials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.97% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 5.19% or 1.21 points to trade at 24.52 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 1.54% or 0.0960 points to end at 6.3360 and Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 1.19% or 0.68 points to 57.76 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which fell 5.44% or 2.04 points to trade at 35.43 at the close. Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) declined 3.02% or 0.400 points to end at 12.850 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) was down 2.70% or 0.72 points to 25.96.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 92 to 46 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 5.19% or 1.21 to 24.52.
Brent oil for April delivery was down 2.82% or 1.83 to $62.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 3.07% or 1.88 to hit $59.27 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1318.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.25% to 1.2216, while EUR/GBP rose 0.76% to 0.8869.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 90.41.
