Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.75%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA), which rose 1.78% or 0.08 points to trade at 4.76 at the close. Meanwhile, Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) added 1.60% or 0.08 points to end at 4.81 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 1.51% or 0.16 points to 10.74 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA), which fell 4.86% or 2.12 points to trade at 41.54 at the close. Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) declined 2.10% or 0.25 points to end at 11.44 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) was down 1.78% or 0.17 points to 9.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 86 to 84 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) rose to all time highs; rising 1.78% or 0.08 to 4.76.
Brent oil for April delivery was up 0.13% or 0.10 to $75.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 0.19% or 0.14 to hit $72.87 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 4.59 to trade at $2,849.79 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 107.94.
