Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.73%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 2.62% or 0.2000 points to trade at 7.8200 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 0.49% or 0.25 points to end at 50.80 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) was up 0.18% or 0.05 points to 27.46 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which fell 1.90% or 0.105 points to trade at 5.425 at the close. Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) declined 1.40% or 0.65 points to end at 45.85 and Valmt (HE:VALMT) was down 1.24% or 0.20 points to 15.87.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 87 to 50 and 16 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for October delivery was up 0.65% or 0.34 to $52.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 0.43% or 0.21 to hit $49.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.19% or 15.04 to trade at $1277.64 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.07% to 1.1744, while EUR/GBP fell 0.10% to 0.9038.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 93.51.
