Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Utilities and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 1.85% or 0.19 points to trade at 10.48 at the close. Meanwhile, Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) added 1.75% or 0.11 points to end at 6.40 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) was up 1.26% or 0.60 points to 48.22 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which fell 5.00% or 0.74 points to trade at 14.06 at the close. Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) declined 4.88% or 0.85 points to end at 16.58 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES) was down 2.21% or 0.20 points to 8.66.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 95 to 71 and 23 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 3.72% or 2.67 to $74.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 4.00% or 2.73 to hit $70.90 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.97% or 25.75 to trade at $2,685.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.61% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 100.98.
