Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Technology and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which rose 2.28% or 0.10 points to trade at 4.37 at the close. Meanwhile, Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) added 2.25% or 0.10 points to end at 4.41 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES) was up 0.93% or 0.08 points to 8.64 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM), which fell 2.34% or 2.10 points to trade at 87.80 at the close. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) declined 2.25% or 0.13 points to end at 5.64 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was down 1.66% or 0.18 points to 10.66.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 91 to 66 and 32 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.28% or 0.10 to 4.37. Shares in Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.25% or 0.13 to 5.64.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.45% or 1.06 to $74.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.76% or 1.21 to hit $69.90 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 4.15 to trade at $2,734.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.41% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.14% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 103.76.
