Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Utilities, Telecoms and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 3.85% or 0.78 points to trade at 21.03 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) added 0.48% or 0.020 points to end at 4.178 and YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) was up 0.33% or 0.02 points to 6.04 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which fell 2.01% or 0.36 points to trade at 17.58 at the close. Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) declined 1.88% or 0.072 points to end at 3.760 and Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) was down 1.61% or 0.43 points to 26.28.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 72 to 66 and 13 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for January delivery was up 2.00% or 1.23 to $62.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 2.21% or 1.22 to hit $56.36 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.95% or 12.09 to trade at $1290.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.15% to 1.1788, while EUR/GBP rose 0.07% to 0.8928.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 93.64.
