Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.58% or 0.1400 points to trade at 9.0050 at the close. Meanwhile, Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) added 1.07% or 0.36 points to end at 33.95 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was up 0.95% or 0.55 points to 58.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which fell 3.37% or 0.174 points to trade at 4.996 at the close. Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) declined 1.70% or 0.110 points to end at 6.365 and Valmt (HE:VALMT) was down 0.86% or 0.14 points to 16.15.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 72 to 65 and 15 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.68% or 0.37 to $54.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 1.98% or 0.97 to hit $48.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.53 to trade at $1351.83 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.14% to 1.2039, while EUR/GBP fell 0.63% to 0.9119.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 91.27.
