Trump tariff impact may be seen in Q2 earnings, Capital Economics says
Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA), which rose 1.54% or 0.09 points to trade at 5.67 at the close. Meanwhile, Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) added 1.29% or 0.11 points to end at 8.47 and Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 1.14% or 0.13 points to 11.07 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hiab Oyj (HE:HIAB), which fell 2.50% or 1.30 points to trade at 50.80 at the close. Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) declined 2.46% or 0.27 points to end at 10.69 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was down 2.09% or 1.40 points to 65.55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 106 to 57 and 22 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for August delivery was down 1.23% or 0.94 to $75.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 1.26% or 0.92 to hit $72.35 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 4.41 to trade at $3,411.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.30% to 1.15, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.02% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 98.12.
