Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Consumer Services and Basic Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 4.30% or 0.235 points to trade at 5.695 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes Abp (HE:KCRA) added 2.73% or 0.95 points to end at 35.73 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was up 2.28% or 0.51 points to 22.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA), which fell 0.90% or 0.28 points to trade at 30.89 at the close. Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) declined 0.66% or 0.23 points to end at 34.40 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was down 0.63% or 0.21 points to 33.23.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 83 to 47 and 21 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for April delivery was down 2.08% or 1.18 to $55.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.86% or 1.00 to hit $52.86 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.86% or 10.65 to trade at $1225.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.36% to 1.0602, while EUR/GBP fell 0.47% to 0.8478.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 101.00.
