Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.61% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 5.73% or 2.90 points to trade at 53.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) added 5.13% or 1.59 points to end at 32.60 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 3.29% or 1.65 points to 51.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V), which fell 1.00% or 0.110 points to trade at 10.890 at the close. Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) declined 0.48% or 0.21 points to end at 43.86 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was down 0.36% or 0.16 points to 44.11.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 84 to 52 and 18 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for July delivery was down 0.04% or 0.02 to $52.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 0.46% or 0.23 to hit $49.79 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.30 to trade at $1265.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.53% to 1.0876, while EUR/GBP fell 0.45% to 0.8473.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 99.08.
