Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Utilities and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.49% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes Abp (HE:KCRA), which rose 1.90% or 0.64 points to trade at 34.36 at the close. Meanwhile, YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 1.57% or 0.10 points to end at 6.78 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 1.56% or 0.085 points to 5.520 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V), which fell 0.27% or 0.07 points to trade at 26.25 at the close. Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) declined 0.10% or 0.010 points to end at 10.280 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 0.09% or 0.02 points to 22.48.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 82 to 55 and 16 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for April delivery was up 1.26% or 0.71 to $56.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 1.56% or 0.84 to hit $54.62 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 0.95 to trade at $1238.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.59% to 1.0549, while EUR/GBP fell 0.65% to 0.8464.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 101.36.
