Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Utilities, Consumer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes Abp (HE:KCRA), which rose 2.43% or 0.79 points to trade at 33.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) added 1.44% or 0.30 points to end at 21.18 and Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) was up 1.37% or 0.20 points to 14.83 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 0.87% or 0.32 points to trade at 36.56 at the close. UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) declined 0.86% or 0.19 points to end at 22.02 and YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) was down 0.63% or 0.04 points to 6.33.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 94 to 42 and 15 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for June delivery was up 0.41% or 0.22 to $53.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 0.24% or 0.12 to hit $50.47 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1244.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.15% to 1.0692, while EUR/GBP fell 0.40% to 0.8528.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 100.20.
