Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 1.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 10.47% or 6.96 points to trade at 73.44 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 5.97% or 2.06 points to end at 36.56 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was up 4.83% or 1.96 points to 42.56 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which fell 36.75% or 1.780 points to trade at 3.063 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) declined 9.06% or 0.45 points to end at 4.56 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was down 7.08% or 0.2840 points to 3.7270.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 87 to 63 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) fell to 52-week lows; losing 36.75% or 1.780 to 3.063. Shares in YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) fell to 52-week lows; falling 9.06% or 0.45 to 4.56. Shares in Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) fell to 52-week lows; falling 7.08% or 0.2840 to 3.7270.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.59% or 0.45 to $77.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.30% or 0.20 to hit $67.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.94% or 11.60 to trade at $1240.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.32% to 1.1410, while EUR/GBP rose 0.15% to 0.8887.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 96.10.
