Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 1.31%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 4.04% or 0.42 points to trade at 10.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) added 3.06% or 0.33 points to end at 11.13 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 2.92% or 0.13 points to 4.62 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to trade at 68.55 at the close. Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) added 0.08% or 0.05 points to end at 63.35 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was up 0.45% or 0.14 points to 31.38.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 91 to 77 and 20 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for August delivery was down 2.25% or 1.67 to $72.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 2.20% or 1.57 to hit $69.72 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.84% or 28.88 to trade at $3,423.92 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.23% to 1.16, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.00% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 97.49.
