Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Basic Materials and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which rose 4.67% or 2.80 points to trade at 62.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) added 1.42% or 0.24 points to end at 16.83 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 1.31% or 0.15 points to 11.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 1.45% or 0.28 points to trade at 18.74 at the close. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) declined 0.89% or 0.34 points to end at 38.00 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was down 0.77% or 0.03 points to 3.33.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 88 to 76 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) rose to all time highs; rising 4.67% or 2.80 to 62.80.
Brent oil for October delivery was down 1.73% or 1.39 to $78.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.87% or 1.44 to hit $75.72 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 5.85 to trade at $2,422.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.35% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.26% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 104.35.
