Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Utilities and Basic Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V), which rose 2.67% or 0.17 points to trade at 6.54 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) added 2.54% or 0.97 points to end at 39.15 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) was up 2.25% or 1.06 points to 48.26 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which fell 1.13% or 0.26 points to trade at 22.83 at the close. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) declined 0.54% or 0.19 points to end at 34.81 and Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) was down 0.38% or 0.10 points to 25.88.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 122 to 31 and 6 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for March delivery was down 0.54% or 0.36 to $66.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.18% or 0.11 to hit $60.31 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 4.00 to trade at $1313.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.36% to 1.2050, while EUR/GBP fell 0.29% to 0.8865.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 91.60.
