Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.25% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which rose 4.36% or 2.50 points to trade at 59.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) added 3.99% or 2.70 points to end at 70.35 and Hiab Oyj (HE:HIAB) was up 2.86% or 1.32 points to 47.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 6.26% or 0.62 points to trade at 9.25 at the close. Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) declined 1.40% or 0.85 points to end at 59.80 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) was down 0.81% or 0.11 points to 12.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 85 to 77 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) rose to all time highs; up 4.36% or 2.50 to 59.90.
Brent oil for July delivery was down 0.43% or 0.28 to $65.10 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 0.42% or 0.26 to hit $61.77 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.88% or 29.06 to trade at $3,313.66 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.51% to 1.13, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.02% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.61% at 99.36.
