Investing.com’s stocks of the week
Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Basic Materials and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM), which rose 1.34% or 0.31 points to trade at 23.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) added 1.33% or 0.21 points to end at 15.57 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) was up 1.10% or 0.13 points to 11.93 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA), which fell 1.33% or 0.24 points to trade at 17.87 at the close. Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) declined 0.99% or 0.09 points to end at 8.58 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES) was down 0.72% or 0.05 points to 6.89.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 88 to 84 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.33% or 0.24 to 17.87.
Brent oil for July delivery was down 1.95% or 1.28 to $64.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 1.84% or 1.16 to hit $61.86 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.22% or 40.39 to trade at $3,338.79 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.26% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.35% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 99.00.
