Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA), which rose 2.03% or 0.44 points to trade at 22.14 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) added 1.05% or 0.65 points to end at 62.60 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 0.61% or 0.02 points to 3.79 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 1.33% or 0.05 points to trade at 3.33 at the close. Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) declined 1.21% or 0.11 points to end at 9.13 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was down 0.52% or 0.06 points to 11.49.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 90 to 69 and 29 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 0.61% or 0.02 to 3.79.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.99% or 0.78 to $77.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.97% or 0.73 to hit $74.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 12.15 to trade at $2,540.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.51% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 100.90.
