Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which fell 0.91% or 3.5 points to trade at 381.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) fell 0.94% or 2.8 points to end at 294.2 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was down 1.25% or 3.50 points to 277.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 3.53% or 49.0 points to trade at 1340.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 3.36% or 20.5 points to end at 590.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 2.24% or 8.0 points to 349.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 111 to 10 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.99% or 0.48 to $49.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.20% or 0.62 to hit $52.27 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.71% or 21.14 to trade at $1257.54 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.49% to 6.6782, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4390.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.57% at 97.54.
