Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.41%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 0.33% or 1.2 points to trade at 367.2 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (CO:DSV) fell 0.12% or 0.5 points to end at 403.9 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was down 0.21% or 0.6 points to 290.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 3.16% or 13.7 points to trade at 420.2 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 2.39% or 6.40 points to end at 261.20 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was down 2.27% or 4.6 points to 198.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 98 to 23 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.89% or 0.82 to $44.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.95% or 0.90 to hit $46.94 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.04 to trade at $1247.44 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.16% to 6.5735, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4362.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.79% at 96.34.
