Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 0.49% or 2.5 points to trade at 516.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) added 0.09% or 0.5 points to end at 536.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 0.03% or 0.1 points to 308.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which fell 3.25% or 380 points to trade at 11330 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.57% or 310 points to end at 11730 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was down 2.28% or 33.0 points to 1415.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 41 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.64% or 0.80 to $48.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.51% or 0.78 to hit $50.84 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.96% or 11.85 to trade at $1245.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.67% to 6.8773, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4363.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.66% at 99.50.
