Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.79%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 0.40% or 1.4 points to trade at 354.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 0.29% or 0.7 points to end at 238.2 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 0.06% or 0.2 points to 323.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 5.88% or 79.0 points to trade at 1264.0 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.87% or 210 points to end at 11040 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was down 1.74% or 4.8 points to 271.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 63 to 57 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.61% or 0.31 to $50.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.67% or 0.36 to hit $53.17 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.35 to trade at $1254.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.06% to 6.9788, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4375.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 100.47.
