Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 1.66% or 2.3 points to trade at 140.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) added 1.11% or 6.5 points to end at 592.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was up 0.91% or 1.1 points to 122.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 2.08% or 25.0 points to trade at 1175.0 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.68% or 170 points to end at 9950 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 1.61% or 170 points to 10420.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 47 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 3.26% or 1.68 to $53.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 3.15% or 1.71 to hit $56.04 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.44% or 5.15 to trade at $1167.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.73% to 6.9905, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4367.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.61% at 100.98.
