Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 0.93% or 2.8 points to trade at 302.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Nets A/S (CO:NETS) added 0.83% or 1.00 points to end at 121.00 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.60% or 1.3 points to 218.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 2.84% or 340 points to trade at 11640 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 2.55% or 290 points to end at 11090 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 1.94% or 7.7 points to 388.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 61 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.93% or 2.8 to 302.6.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.02% or 0.53 to $51.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.22% or 0.67 to hit $54.27 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.15% or 1.75 to trade at $1183.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.17% to 7.0419, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4337.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 102.04.
