Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Chemicals and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nets A/S (CO:NETS), which rose 0.59% or 0.70 points to trade at 120.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.58% or 5.0 points to end at 873.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 0.30% or 1.4 points to 471.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 2.49% or 8.4 points to trade at 328.9 at the close. Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) declined 1.99% or 5.30 points to end at 260.70 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 1.56% or 190 points to 11980.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 42 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 2.85% or 1.54 to $52.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 2.82% or 1.61 to hit $55.49 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.81% or 9.45 to trade at $1182.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 7.0361, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4340.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 101.99.
