Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 2.82% or 8.0 points to trade at 292.0 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.11% or 190 points to end at 9205 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 2.10% or 180 points to 8765 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 2.20% or 9.7 points to trade at 431.9 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 1.45% or 3.3 points to end at 224.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was down 1.12% or 1.3 points to 114.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 63 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.45% or 3.3 to 224.0.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.82% or 0.88 to $47.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.10% or 0.54 to hit $48.36 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.15% or 1.85 to trade at $1211.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.04% to 7.0038, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4389.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 101.13.
