Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.01% or 12.0 points to trade at 1204.0 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.00% or 110 points to end at 11160 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.96% or 2.1 points to 219.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 2.47% or 23.0 points to trade at 907.0 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 2.39% or 0.86 points to end at 35.10 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 1.90% or 9.1 points to 471.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 59 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.00% or 110 to 11160. Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) rose to 5-year highs; rising 0.96% or 2.1 to 219.8.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 2.31% or 1.24 to $52.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 2.11% or 1.20 to hit $55.62 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.89% or 10.25 to trade at $1161.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.36% to 7.1364, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4337.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.75% at 103.14.
