Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.58% or 18.5 points to trade at 736.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) added 1.48% or 4.00 points to end at 275.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.23% or 7.0 points to 574.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 3.19% or 14.5 points to trade at 439.5 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 1.23% or 3.1 points to end at 248.0 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was down 1.12% or 1.8 points to 159.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 47 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.23% or 7.0 to 574.5.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.09% or 0.56 to $51.71 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.03% or 0.56 to hit $54.92 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 5.95 to trade at $1254.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.9813, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4359.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 100.56.
