Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 2.92% or 12.1 points to trade at 426.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.69% or 24.0 points to end at 1441.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.36% or 8.0 points to 595.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 1.85% or 12.0 points to trade at 638.0 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 1.56% or 11.5 points to end at 725.0 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was down 1.37% or 3.5 points to 251.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 43 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) rose to 5-year highs; rising 2.92% or 12.1 to 426.6.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.36% or 0.59 to $42.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.56% or 0.72 to hit $45.30 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.58 to trade at $1246.08 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.07% to 6.6759, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4390.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 97.38.
