Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 3.84% or 450 points to trade at 12180 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 3.27% or 370 points to end at 11680 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 1.22% or 4.1 points to 340.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 3.59% or 25.5 points to trade at 684.5 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 3.28% or 46.0 points to end at 1357.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was down 1.01% or 1.7 points to 167.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 61 to 54 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.18% or 0.56 to $47.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.12% or 0.56 to hit $50.78 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 4.42 to trade at $1223.32 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.03% to 6.8472, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4409.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 99.53.
